It is believed that the first Mangiaracina appeared in
Camporeale sometime during the late 18th century. We base this
on a marriage record dated in the year 1786 between one Giuseppe
Mangiaracina and Antonina Sanzone, both of Santa Margherita di
Belice.
Many Mangiaracina families can be traced back to
Camporeale.
