Instructions
* Beat sugar,
eggs, and butter to cream.
* Mix with
sifted flour.
* Mix yeast and
warm milk gradually.
* Mix with
flour mixture.
* Let dough
rise for 45 mins. – 1 hour in bowl.
* Depending on
size of fryer or pot add enough Crisco to saturate the dough.
Remember to leave room for adding the dough.
* Heat fryer or
pot to 375 degrees.
* When oil is
ready use a tablespoon to scoop out dough and insert into pot.
* Deep fry
until golden brown
* Sprinkle
powdered sugar to your liking (Regular sugar may be
substituted).
